One night in the thick of fall two years ago, Blaire & I sat on her balcony eating pumpkin chili, sipping wine, listening to Sara Bareilles & conversing about life, love & what God was teaching us during that season. We gushed about heartache, unmet expectations & the frustrations we’d been encountering in terms of dating. It was a sweet night filled with a few of my favorite things all in one. A night (amongst so many) I was full of gratitude for my friendship & the wisdom I always gain when I hang out with Blaire. I look up to her a lot. Little did we know that night that weeks later she would meet the love of her life. I can’t even begin to express how happy I am for Blaire and that she found her man. She deserves this kind of love she found with Jon (and his cute daugher, Chloe). It’s funny the things we envision about love and how much better it can look in the hands of our creator when we give Him control. This love is such an example of that! Blaire & Jon…I wish you two nothing but the best! Thank you so much for letting me capture this time in your lives. I look forward to eating pumpkin chili with the two (or three) of you in the future;)

Brook & I have become friends through the contract photography I’ve been doing for OCU. I was lucky enough for her to hire me to take family photos of her, her hub and their sweet little boy, Jake. He is TOO cute! I just love his sweet little curls. I had such a great time with this session. Hope you all enjoy!
